This is a bunch of bullshit.
Domino's recently started an ad campaign that goes into the fact that customers hate their pizza, hate their crust and hate their sauce and so now they are starting from scratch and reinventing the way their pizza is made with a garlic crust and better cheese and bunch of other better shit.
First off, I must admit that I have not tried Domino's new recipe yet... I actually haven't eaten Domino's pizza at all since I was just a little kid, so I don't remember how it used to taste anyway. What I've heard, however, is that the new pizza isn't really that good either. I've actually heard that their new recipe tastes strikingly similar to Pappa John's pizza.
Which leads me to believe that they may have changed a few things in the recipe, but the biggest thing they are doing is creating a new ad campaign which gets people talking and gets business back in for at least a 'taste' of the new pizza, which will in turn cause a nice little surge in business before they start losing business again and eventually have to shut down.
My question is this... Why are you eating Domino's anyway?! This is America and there is a local pizza shop in every town in every city, and if not just one shop then dozens... one on every corner just about.
Please support your local pizza shops because they are a hell of a lot better than anything that Pizza Hut, Dominos or Pappa John's can dish out. The only pizza chain that I will even recognize is Grotto's Pizza, which is a small chain in the Delaware area... all else can get the Bozack!

Comcast Sucks... but then, Doesn't Suck...
Comcast has been a thorn in my side since I got it installed. At first it was the whole ordeal with the NFL network being on a pay per view sports tier, then there was a long delay before our area got the NFL Redzone Channel in HD. This isn't even mentioning the fact that the guide is full of ads and offers a less-than-impressive experience.
The latest problem was with my HD DVR box, which started acting funny last weekend and displayed all local channels as 'To Be Announced,' on the guide. This usually happens if there is a power outage and the DVR box needs to re-download all of the program names. Unfortunately, it was only happening to the local channels and rebooting the system only caused ALL channels to display 'To Be Announced.'
Shortly after the guide problems, the DVR just shut off without warning. I unplugged it and plugged it back in... it started back up... for about 3 minutes and then it shut off again. After that I could not get the box to react at all. No matter what I did, this box was bricked and there was nothing I could do.
I seriously contemplated canceling my service, but figured I'd give them one last chance... I contacted Comcast Customer Service and (eventually) they set up a new box for me and so I went out to the Comcast store to pick it up.
I was expecting them to replace the same DVR Box that I was using, but when I brought in my DVR they handed back a brand new model, which I thought was pretty cool. I got home, hooked it up, called up the activation number and BOOM, it was working...yay! It even downloaded all of the programs within an hour, much quicker than my previous box ever did.
I have to say, I am really liking the new DVR and it's made having Comcast cable a little bit better. It seems more responsive, it has more storage capacity and overall it seems to eliminate some of the minor problems I've been dealing with using the previous box. There are still annoying ads in the guide but other than that, I am really liking it. Turned out to be one of my first 'Good' Comcast experiences.

One of Those Days...
A flood of incredibly good things happen and inevitably, the other shoe will fall.
I had a great holiday, tons of fun, everything seemed to be going great.
Yesterday after work, for some reason I felt extremely tired and fell asleep at 6:00 p.m. I didn't wake back up until 6:30 a.m. this morning. Hmm... weird.
This morning I got to work, everything was fine, but then someone brought it to my attention that my car was running, so I ran outside to see that, in fact, my car was still running... it was locked, thankfully, but I forgot to take the keys out. I've never done that.
Fast forward to 4:00, when we get tomorrow's pot of coffee ready. My co-worker Taira always fills the grounds in the coffee maker and I always fill up the pot with water... well I barely tapped the pot against the sink when I went to fill it and the bottom breaks off...
WTF!!!
This is definitely one of those 'Bad' days I've heard so much about.

Battle Royale
It's that time of year again when New Year and Old Year duke it out in a 24 round, hard-hitting battle royale. There will be non-stop action and the winner will claim ultimate supremacy for an entire year, so there's a lot on the line.
New Year has remained the reigning Champion for about 2,009 straight matches in a row, but will this finally be the year that Old Year pulls the upset and wins the bout outright?! I have my doubts, but anything can happen.

Alternative Christmas Movies
Ho Ho freakin' Ho!... If you're tired of the average Miracle on 34th Streets, Home Alones, Christmas Story, Christmas Vacations, etc... here are my top 5 Alternative Christmas Movies...
# 5 - Trading Places - You might not think of this as a Christmas movie, and most of it isn't, but the disturbing, drunk and homeless Dan Akroyd donning the Santa Suit during the films finale, brings you right into the Christmas Spirit... oh and you get to see a young, beautiful Jamie Lee Curtis topless.
# 4 - The Ref - Dennis Leary kidnapping a bickering couple during Christmas... nothing says Holiday fun like that. This is a dark comedy and the actors were great playing off of each other.
# 3 - Gremlins - There is no better memory than watching evil gremlins run around the snow-covered, christmas lit town...
# 2 - Lethal Weapon - I love action movies that take place during the Holidays, this is a classic flick which has enough Christmas in it to make it on my list...
# 1 - Die Hard - Absolutely the best Christmas Action Movie ever! It has been an on-going Christmas Eve tradition that I snuggle up in a nice warm blanket and watch the bullets fly. Yippe Kye Aye Muthafucka!!

A Quick Little Rant
I'm really sorry that "Jesus" was brutally punished and murdered for our sins and all, but I don't really need to read spam emails about it that go into depth about how long the nails were that punctured his hands and feet and how the tendons in his arm ripped upon the weight of his body... Thanks but No Thanks... these are not things that I get off on.
And No... I'm not forwarding this morbid tale to 10 friends or anyone else. Why not celebrate "his" message instead of mourning "his" death.

Why Raw Coffee?
I've had so many people pester me and ask over and over again, 'why the name Raw Coffee?' so I just wanted to post the answer so that everyone will get off my damn back (OK, OK... no one has asked me yet... or read the blog for that matter, but here's the answer anyway...)
I use the term Raw Coffee for coffee that has nothing in it... no sugar, no milk or creamer, no cinnamon... just straight up, black coffee... that's how I drink it. I thought it was funny, plus it's just the raw, harsh way to drink coffee... and as for the blog, I just write unfiltered, raw and harsh blog posts and try to write like I like my coffee... tall black and strong... uhh... wait I think I'm thinking of something else now... nevermind...
